Northview Golf & Country Club was the site for the 3rd Major Tournament of the 2009 season, with a full field of 52 entered. The scores on the day reflected the excellent playing conditions with 14 players recording scores of par or better.

Rene Cusi continued his dominance of the “A” Division with his 3rd win of the season. Rene carded 10 pars on his way to a round of 81, net 64, and a 3 shot victory over Jess Supnet, with his victory Rene continues to lead the way in the Player of the Year standings with 66.5 points, 9 up on Jess Supnet.

In the “B” Division Jesse Reyes got his first win of the year on a round of 99, net 67, and a 2 shot win over runner-up Jun Tan.

This weeks KP winners were, Randy Moore with 2, Sonny Rarama and Marc Hung.

Congratulations to Jess Supnet and Rob Tambunting for getting the first “eagles” of the year. Jess recorded a 2 on the par 4, 15th hole with Rob getting a 3 on the par 5, 18th.

Team Marasigan took top points in this weeks team event led by Jesse Reyes with 45 points and a team total of 151 pts. Team Pitman came in a close 2nd with 145 pts. followed by Team Gonzaga with 144 and Team Emerson with 143 Pts. In the overall standings Team Pitman holds down the top spot with a slim 2.5 point margin over Team Marasigan.

Please take note the change in the start time for next weekends tournament, the new time is 9:15 a.m.
