This weeks tournament at Northview produced another first time winner in the “B” division, along with a 2 time winner for the “A” division. Randy Gonzales got win number 2 of the season and Menchie Tan recorded his first of the year.
Randy recorded a round of 69 including 7 pars and 1 birdie to win the “A” division. Despite playing the last 3 holes in 3 over par he held on to take a 2 shot victory over 4 others at 71.
Menchie shot a round of 8 under par 64 and won in a tie-breaker over Dave Giles, both players recorded 43 on the back nine. Menchie recorded 2 pars for the day on his way to his 1st win of the season.
The individual leaders for the day were Mark Pitman with the low gross for the day at 79. Jess Supnet and Robin Perrin both had 9 pars on their rounds with Mark and guest Aaron Ferrer both recording 3 birdies.
KP winners this week were Rene Trinidad, Marc Hung, Randy Gonzales and Jennie Hollinshead.
Two Match Play events were played on Saturday with Dave Giles and Dave Hollinshead both advancing to the next round of play.
