A field of 44 entered this weeks tournament held at the Carnoustie Golf Club. As is nearly always the case the course proved to be tough scoring for the majority of the field with only 15 players recording scores of par or better. The low round of the day was turned in by GV Fragante with a score of 80.

In the “A” Division, Jess Supnet fired off 10 pars on his round of 81, net 67, to get his 2nd win of the year with a 1 shot edge over Lance Kraus. Dom Cejalvo took the top spot in the “B” Division with a tiebreaker win over Marissa Fragante, Dom recorded 4 pars and 1 birdie on his round of 90, net 68, this was Dom’s 1st win for 2009.

JoJo Hernandez strengthened his lead in the Player of the Year race with his tie for 5th place and 4.5 points, his lead is now 4.5 over Rene Cusi.

This week’s KP winners were Lynne Hayes, Bob Hayes and Kevin Jewell.

In the lone Match Play contest Martin Abel edged out Robin Perrin in a tiebreaker to advance to the next round.

Team Pitman rebounded after an off week to take the top spot in the Team event with a combined team score of 145, led by Lance Kraus and Dom Cejalvo’s 39 pts. Jun Tan’s team came in a close 2nd with 144 points with Team Apacible picking up 3rd place points with 138 combined pts. Team Pitman increased its overall lead to 10 pts. over the Marasigan team and 10.5 pts over team J. Tan.
